Modeling of the hydrological behavior of some catchments in arid and semi–arid regions of Algeria

This research project focused on studying the hydrological behavior of selected watersheds located in arid and semi-arid regions of Algeria. The work aimed to better understand rainfall-runoff processes, water balance dynamics, and catchment response under the specific climatic and geomorphological constraints characteristic of these regions. The findings contribute to improved water resource management strategies in water-scarce environments, supporting applications in flood risk assessment, water availability planning, and sustainable catchment management.
